Update on Funds 5/16
So, the funding is not going terribly well. I suspect that this is due in part to my lack of contact with those to whom I gave support letters. Today I have been calling people for this, but I really should have done this weeks ago. Alas, I have raised $1,600 thus far (Goal is $5,000), so I am only around 1/3 of the total amount. Thus, I must now raise twice the amount I have already raised in a quarter of the time. For those of you praying for me, please pray that God will raise the funds I need to go on this trip.

Hey Kevin,
I got your message, and I am praying for you, and praying about giving. I want to believe truth that God is working and doing something, and not with-holding any good thing from you. Dont be discouraged, do not be terrified, God is with you. I just thought of Joshua 1:8, in the Message it says, "Dont be timid; dont be discouraged. God, YOUR GOD, is with you every step you take." Know I have thought of you often...since that time at the Village when i asked you how things were going, and you said you had 10 dollars....
